Celebrate National Shrimp Day with a shrimp-tastic seafood special at Lowcountry! On Saturday, May 10, Lowcountry’s five locations will feature giant freshwater prawns from Thailand for one day only. The giant prawns may be added to any seafood boil combo or build-your-own boil for $30 (three prawns per order).
In addition, Lowcountry offers a signature Shrimp Lover’s combo seafood boil, which includes 1 lb of shrimp, corn and potatoes tossed in “Everythang” sauce with a side of cornbread for $29.50.
Lowcountry boasts three Chicago locations (Lakeview; South Loop; Chinatown), one in Milwaukee, WI and the most recently opened outpost in Merrillville, IN. For menus and hours of operation, visit LowcountryRestaurant.com.
Lowcountry is known for its bold, flavorful sauces paired with fresh seafood boils, offering a hands-on, communal dining experience. Guests are encouraged to dig into their meals with their hands, just like at a backyard seafood boil, with bibs provided to keep things fun and casual. The laid-back, welcoming setting is perfect for sharing a meal with family and friends.
